Amazing stay experience

direct access comfortable beds blackout curtains helpful staff

My experience included convenient access directly from St Pancras station. The hotel provided a spa and pool with good hours. I found the beds and blackout curtains in the rooms quite comfortable. The staff was helpful, solving quickly any problems, which I highly appreciate.

Queues for check-in was a little long at my arrival.

The Hanson restaurant offers a lovely relaxed setting, also the 1869 for dinner. I advise you to book early to have a good table. High quality of food is good.

inadequate streaming options tepid bath water

The television situation was really frustrating. i couldn't access any streaming services, not even netflix or disney+. i've had better options in way cheaper places. the tepid water in the bath was also a real letdown, i had to boil water just to get a decent bath. that's not what i expect when paying this much. It was a huge hassle, lack of hot water

friendly staff excellent architecture convenient location

the staff was friendly. the building is architecturally excellent with a grand stairway. the location is convenient since it is close to the train station (very useful for eurostar).

the wifi connection in the room was unreliable. i experienced difficulty connecting, impacting my ability to work efficiently.

overpriced for what it is

deducted amount no email

the location is good (especially if you need access to the train station).

i booked a one night stay and prepaid for the room. the front desk insisted on taking another pre-authorization payment but this was not released upon checkout. instead, the hotel deducted an amount 3 times more than the prepaid amount 3 days later and without any call or email, so i had to deal with it.
